Getting to Kuala Lumpur

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is one of Asia's major aviation hubs and is located at the top of the southern corridor of Peninsular Malaysia, bordering the states of Selangor and Negeri Sembilan. It is situated in the Sepang district, approximately 50 km from the capital city, Kuala Lumpur.  KLIA has numerous international carriers but should your airline of preference not service this route then the alternative is Changi Airport, Singapore.  Flight services between Singapore and KLIA are very frequent with many airlines to choose from. 

Getting to Kuala Lumpur from KLIA

KLIA Ekspres is a premium non-stop high-speed train service that connects KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) and the Kuala Lumpur city centre and KL Sentral Station. Cruising at a top speed of 160 km/h, the journey takes 28 minutes.  KLIA Express operates at 15 minute intervals during peak times and 20 minute intervals during off peak times.  There is a free porter service to help with your luggage.

Getting to Kuala Lumpur from the LCCT (Low Cost Carrier Terminal)

A KLIA Transit Train & Shuttle Service The ‘KLIA Transit to LCCT’ service offers you a connecting shuttle transfer to and from the LCCT.  From KL Sentral you take a high-speed train ride to the Salak Tinggi station, where the air-conditioned shuttle fleet will connect you directly to LCCT. Passengers arriving at LCCT can also enjoy this service as the KLIA Transit train is now just a shuttle ride away. There will also be porter assistance at the Salak Tinggi station to help with your luggage transfer between train and shuttle.

Tickets are available at the KLIA Transit counter at KL Sentral, Bandar Tasik Selatan, Putrajaya & Cyberjaya and LCCT International and Domestic Arrival Hall ticketing counters.

Getting to Your Hotel

Taxi and Limosine services operate from both KLIA and KL Sentral.  These services are at fixed prices 

Accommodation

Accommodation at the venue for the conference is available in the delegate package.  Accommodation is at five star level details of the venue will be posted early next week.  Currently our organisation is negotiating packages for our conference attendees.
